Wordsearch
Some teachers think that word searches, crosswords or Sudoku’s, are just a waste of time. Some teachers think that they are just a way of entertaining your students doing nothing. Solving these games has lots of benefits for our students.
- They are a great way to practice spelling. They are spelling words without noticing we want them to work on it.
- By using them you can reach to a great variety of learners. In our class we have a great range of learning styles, word searches help us out to reach them all.
- You can use them anyplace, anytime.
- You can practice any kind of vocabulary you are working with your students on, and it is a very good way to start or finish a lesson (warming-up or reviewing)
- They are FUN!!
Sopa de letras
Algunos profesores piensan que usar sopas de letras, crucigramas o Sudokus , es una pérdida de tiempo. Algunos profesores piensan que sólo son una forma de entretener a los estudiantes, y que realmente no hacen nada. Resolver este tipo de juegos tiene mucho s beneficios para nuestros alumnos.
- Con ellos practicamos el deletreo de palabras. Deletrean palabras sin darse cuenta de que nosotros queremos que lo hagan.
- Usando sopas de letras llegamos a muchos alumnos que aprenden de diferentes formas. En nuestras aulas tenemos una gran variedad de estilos de aprendizaje, estas actividades nos ayudan a llegar a todos ellos.
